Drifloon and Drifblim are balloons. Their bodies are made for flight.

Gyarados is because its body acts as a wind sock.

And, contrary to popular belief, Doduo and Dodrio do in fact have wings. Its pokedex entries in both the games and the anime confirm this, plus it can learn Fly and Steel wing. It just has small wings that it hides in its frathers.

I guess the argument can be made that, like Drifloon, Minior's body is light and hollow and made for hovering. But it still doesn't sit right with me.

The majority of those still just look like a rock with something attached to it. Golem is definitive boulder tier. Sorry for wanting something besides a slow, physically offensive and defensive obviously a rockmon for once.

Fossils are a special case imo since it's sort of apparent they're all rock because of the defosssilization process and usually nothing else.

Literally the only one that doesn't make sense is the Moon one, it should be Rock/Dark.
