To be a shitmon, you have to have a confluence of shit going against you. Bad stats, bad movepool, useless or even detrimental ability, useless or detrimental typing, as a rule you can't be a shitmon without 3 of these 4.

My biggest fear is they make it a mixed attacker with not very impressive stats. Lugarugan Night seems to be the fast and massive Atk stats type of pokemon, Day Lugarugan on the other hand can easily be screwd obver since they will most likely won't make them have identical base stats.

I don't see it being a mixed attacker. However, I could see it going the Talonflame route where its only impressive stat is speed, except without the absolute broken power of Gale Wings.

The fact that Sungarugan has rock priority makes me feel happy. It looks fast, and it seems to be a physical attacker, so id assume its attack is between 100-120 at least. It just boils down to the rest of its movepool and ability, and speed tier (110+ being the goal). No doubt its HP/defenses are low.

I'd rather be scizor, with 1 4x fire weakness, than something like jirachi with 4 2x weaknesses.
