It was never said that this other dimension was without pokemon. Clearly the fact that they come from another dimension isn't what makes them not pokemon. We don't know what it is, but just being from another dimension isn't enough to invalidate a living being as a pokemon.

Thats a retarded strawman argument OP. No one ever said that's the reason they don't think Ultra Beasts are Pokemon. The reason is because they have never called Ultra Beasts, Pokemon, making sure to call them Ultra Beasts, and they are not listed under Pokemon on the official site. Their wording in things also imply that they aren't Pokemon.
