Oh no, Battlespot is pure cancer; I prefer regular 6v6s. Cartridge based play is a lot more varied compared to Showdown, so it doesn't hinder me as much when I use stuff like Hariyama or Dusknoir.
All you really need to do is adjust the sets and EV alignments a bit and you're good to go.
