Medarot has finally been subbed by the way. It's really something people should watch, because it's extremely good, and the animation is gorgeous.

Ash is supposed to be the tour guide for new players, teaching kids who just got into pokemon the basics and stuff about friendship, people who want Ash to become some smogon faggot because "muh 20 years" are delusional

This endless cycle also would fuck with Pikachu, who is the series mascot, if Ash became an actual pokemon master this would be the end of his story and Pikachu would retire, which means some other trainer with another mon would need to show up

Finally, we can't have Ash becoming a pokemon master either because that's what kids would also search for after watching the anime, if they ever set on stone "to become a pokemon master you must win this event, them its official" them it means any kid who wants to become a pokemon master can just beat one of the games and he will have acomplished his objective, having the title of pokemon master vague and unknown means more people buying more games and participatiing on this endless cycle that is pokemon

Medabots was the superior franchise. The games handled triple battles and shit like flashy powerful special attacks much better than Gamefreak. Z-Moves will be shit compared to the Medaforce.

And Imagineer milked the series to death with like five mainline games in four years plus a SRPG spin-off and a weak PS1 title. Then when it got a revival they milked it to death in the same sort of way after 7.

Still a great series though.

The GBA game is better than Pokemon XY and ORAS. And they barely made any overworld sprites for NPCs.

I was surprised by how simple the battle system was, yet there are like tons of viable combinations because medabots can never get hard countered outside of the ones owned by NPCs.
