I think the justification is that Machamp's focusing all its efforts on landing a hit that it doesn't have the ability to pay attention to dodging? Maxes sense for Honedge / Doublade two since they're literal drawn swords with no defense.

I think no guard is exactly what it sounds like. It lowers its guard and leaves itself open to attack causing the other Pokemon to also lower their guard around it, hence both Pokemon getting perfect accuracy

I always assumed that it essentially means it goes full on reckless, and focuses every single cell of its body to fucking up the opponent

Since Machamp has bullshit level strength and speed I guess it makes sense that if it REALLY wants to fuck your day up and fuck the consequences, it will.
