Also pokemon names are usually based on puns or two words put together. UB names are just codenames. Also, calling them "Bestias" or Beasts kinda makes them appear too savage. As >>28577180 said, calling somebody "Bestia" usually means that he/she is rude, loud and violent.

Besides the fact that Seel isn't a word, I don't think the people who translated Gen 1 into Spanish are the same people translating Gen 7 into spanish. I'm still personally gonna stand by my theory on this unless it gets disproven by some random pokemon getting its name change, though considering I'm not going to be playing the game in spanish anyways, It's not like my stakes in this are all that high.
