See, I am an injector and the thing that annoys me in these threads is that there are always the same 3-5 people requesting pokemon. An they request a ton, as soon as one pokemon is sent they request the next and complain why it hasn't been sent yet.

Another injector here, it might just be me, but regarding the low amount of people asking for help it might be because they come and see the people requesting stuff being called animals and shit
I don't really mind that much taking 20 request from a single person, just the past few days I took entire teams, but what does annoy me is how impatient they can get, they aren't waiting for the injectors to start the these anymore, they could at least pretend they're one and use the pasta to get things going
It's also happened that I agree to help someone, but if they don't get what they want within 5 minutes they immediately ask someone else, that shit put me off from injecting for people for a while, we really need to put some order back into these threads

If you are on 9.2 you can install custom firmware which gives you free access to your 3DS functions, the ability to download games for free, etc...
It's literally the sweetspot for 3DS cracking.

It's far better than just homebrew. Look up the guide on /vg/.

Question!

I want to create a shiny Shaymin, the only way this is possible is if it is from Platinum, from the Flower Paradise. Does anyone have one of these they can screenshot a sample of their data? I am really stumped on what to put under Met. It's not Tall Grass, but none of the other options fit either.

You do have a firmware version that can do that right? Nintendo patched the QR exploit a while back so if your 3DS is up to date you won't be able to
As for how they work in case you do have the right firmware version you

>Open the camera pressing both triggers
>Press the QR code on the lower left part and point the camera to the code, the browser should open but it will crash and close

It's another browser exploit page for the 3DS. If you open it while the game is running it overwrite your box 1 based on the bin file on your SD card and write your box 2 to a 2nd bin file. I'm learning a lot today!

I'm looking at your Shaymin and for some reason the option to specify where it was met is gone entirely. I don't really know what this means or how it's done, if anyone does would appreciate details.

I believe if you leave it in none, click view on another Pokemon and then click view back on Shaymin that happens, I noticed it too when I was making a Slaking with Sucker Punch (Gen IV tutor move), I don't really know why it happens tho but it doesn't seem to mess with a Pokemon's legality
Also, what you were trying to do with that page was cloning a box right? I believe this QR code clones everything you have in Box 2 into Box 1, I used to have the code but I deleted it once QR codes were patched and just found this one so I'm not quite sure if it is the right one and I can no longer test it you, but it should be easier to clone using this code if it is the correct one

Has anyone found a way to force Shaymin to stay in its Sky Forme permanently? You can fo it with just about every Pokémon in the game; all Megas, Primals, Hoopa Unbound, all 3 Castform, Darmanitan Zen Mode, Piruette Meloetta and so on and so on. But the ONLY Pokémon I can't get to stay in its alternate form when sent to Bank is Sky Shaymin. Any help?

Doesn't really matter, it fills on its own, but if a Pokemon has IDs that aren't yours that's what it's used to measure its friendship and all that stuff, so this Rayquaza for example, if I want it to have max friendship I have to put my trainer's name and max everything in Memories/Amie > Memories with: notOT
Also in case you were wondering about the Extra Bytes I don't really know what the hell they do, I believe if a Pokemon has a regular ability it should say 0, and if it has its Hidden Ability it should say 1, but I wouldn't really mess with that

Another thing, if you ever clone a Pokemon or use one as a preset instead of starting from scratch, always reroll the PID and the Encryption Constant, if two Pokemon have the same values the game considers them the same Pokemon or something like that, doesn't really mess with the game or legalities or anything as far as I know but better do it just to be safe

The PID is the Pokemon's value, it determines whether the Pokemon is Shiny and all that stuff, the TID is what you're thinking about, no two Pokemon should ever have the same PID

with a firmware on 9.2 you can easily install a9lh in 1-2h and make it so that you can always be on the latest firmware, play online, still have homebrew access and pirate games like no tomorrow. For that I'd recommend a bigger sd card than the stock 4gb one, but I think it is something anyone who still can should do.

It is truly amazing once you have it. You get full access to pretty much everything. You can pirate games from the e-shop without paying (so once sun and moon shows up you can just dl both versions instead of buying them) and the 3ds will think you legally bought them, so you can play online without any issues. Future updates most likely won't be able to "undo" the a9lh installation either (it is ofc always better to wait a day first for the "ok" from the 3dshacks devs).

If you want to keep using QR codes to scan (once you have a9lh set up there's way faster ways that allow you to inject from your pc over wifi without having to close the game or disconnect from the GTS) you can just reinstall the old 9.2 browser.

It's pretty fucking gud

it looks more intimidating than it is, if you follow the guide step by step you should have no problems... the part at the top of each guide-part is mostly a tech explanation and not really necessary.

You just have to make sure you pick the right files (so NA for NA systems and EU for EU, or you will fuck your console up).

The whole thing can be done in 1-2h and is really worth it.

Just start at step one, do the 16 steps there, go to part 2, do the 11 steps there, go to part 3 and finish with all the steps there. It is something you can do even if you don't know what you are doing by just following the steps exactly as they say
