Meganium's ability is not right. Its ability is basically permanent aromatherapy when it's in play, not only can it not be statused but whenever you switch it in, it cures status of your entire party.
Typhlosion is fire/ground and gets most of his boost in speed, attack and special attack. He does get Berserk which is supposed to synergize with Eruption losing power as he takes damage.
Feraligatr is water/dragon and doesn't gain much speed, it's built to be a bulky dragon dance user. It does get sheer force, which works well considering waterfall is his primary STAB.
As for the others I guarantee there will not be primals of gen 2 legendaries. Xatu and Slowking were both considered for megas but afaik they haven't done anything on them yet.
The next set of megas isn't coming until the Sinnoh remakes. Information about these megas will begin to be revealed around the release of GSC on the virtual console next summer.
