In the E3, whatever is in her bad makes a weird cry. Alolan Vulpix still has the same cry as regular Vulpix.

With all the new information regarding ultra beasts it probably isn't a Z-core. The fetch quest doesn't mean it can't be one though, we know there's more than one and there's nothing saying we couldn't get one from her as part of the story line.
