I picked up the Pokemon anime with XY, League final was a disappointment but this whole final arc was awesome. This season had the strongest Pikachu, the first time Ash reached the final, the best climax ever and the best companions in any series. I don't think I will be able to keep up with the anime after that preview but this was a nice way to say goodbye, at least for me.

My main issue with it is that it turned out to be no different from something like Infernape's Blaze. Fuck, it could've been a particularly powerful Torrent and nothing would've changed.
