I have a few Hypno I throw on gyms after taking them so I don't have to leave behind good mons I'll need to go and beat the next 3 snorlax 3 lapras monolith 2 minutes away.

I do have 1 good IV perfect moveset hypno I hatched as a drowzee, I named him Party Van and he shits on people's poliwraths and vileplumes for me.

It's almost impossible for me to hit pokemon that are far away. I encountered a Vileplume earlier, threw about 50 balls at the bastard, and I could only get a single ball to hit it. I tried every throwing technique I've read about. Is it because I'm playing the game on a tablet maybe?

I use the scanner multiple times a day, in multiple locations (my apartment, campus, work) and the worst thing that happens maybe once or twice a day is the scanner takes forever to load in the Pokémon. Every other time it works as intended.

I've caught three Snorlax, a shit load of Rare Pokémon (Jiggles, Eggs, Vulpix), one Dugtrio, one Nidoqueen and one Venusaur just from casually loading up the scanner before getting in my car since I first heard about it.

Yeha it's slower, which is why I only use it for 2 reasons:

>When I need really specific directions for a Pokemon when street layout is confusing so I rely on the google maps directions

Honestly, I think that fastpokemap and search are both useful on their own right. I would never drop one or the other since I constantly travel and they cover each other's backs. I actually use pokemonradar go less than search by now.

Nah, I check forums, ribbit and the silph road to check for areas which are known habitats. Despite not being nests, some areas rotate spawns daily. For example, I know of a beach that alternates between Dratini, Magikarp and Squirtle nights.Of course, the problem is that since it's not a nest, we're talking like 1-2 Dratinis every 20 minutes or so except for very rare lucky occasions.

Steel Wing is the better defensive move and Hyper Beam does a shitload of damage as long as they dont dodge it. I was vexed on his to make the throw work for all mons, specifically far and close ones.

I came up with this solution. Essentially, close mons you start in the bottom corner and release *JUST* after the middle of the screen. Far mons you need to warp the spiral so it's "taller" to induce less spin and throw "off screen".

Let me know what you think / feel free to create better versions of these patterns.

You went up by one level, each time you power up your mons they go up by 0.5 levels. The maximum pokemon level is your current trainer level.

CP is arbitrary, it's just a number that represents the level of your pokemon combined with it's EV's.

Pokemon level and being above ~80% IV's is what matters.

You CANNOT find a pokemon with a level higher than yours, hence you cannot find a pokemon with a especially "high cp" unless it's for example, dragonites, arcanine, snorlax etc. which have inflated CP numbers for various reasons.

Effectively however, higher CP doesn't really mean it's better when you factor in type advantages.
