I think the ORAS remake was totally serviceable. The reason so many people find it underwhelming I THINK is because gen 3 was all around underwhelming to begin with and people who played it then just forgot about it/nostalgia glasses etc

A gen 4 remake is unnecessary in my mind because Sun/Moon does not look as that big of an improvement over the series like D/P was.

I'll be very surprised if they announce a D/P remake on the 3DS this generation.

Considering pokemon has been alchemy since gen 4 arguably since gen 3 signs point to it being this way considering sun and moon are the upcoming games. Also you cant argue the colors non counting the middle one on perfect zygarde's chest represent x,y, sun, and moon. The middle is a reflective white aka platinum.

Sinnoh is an AMAZING region, tell me it sucks and i'll fucking find you. I've been here since gen 1, and if you look at the map, everything is geographically correct to Hokkaido, and that pleases me even more, and gives you this "pokemon is just a dimension away from being real" feeling.

Mt.Coronet is great, thousands of paths to explore, some areas have rare encounters like Lv.40 Abomasnows and so on.

It's really got it all, the only thing that would ruin the remakes, would not having access to:

>Secret Key
>Distortion World (it's a stretch since the game isn't about giratina but, they could easily make a different happening like that for each in the trio.
