Sun Doggo has a unique move that's likely a STAB Rock priority attack.
Assuming Sun Dog is actually good, Charizard is affected but not nearly as much as bug/flying/ice types, Charizardfags are just babies.

The biggest problem will be if megas are removed. Otherwise, Charizard (with its megas) will just be in the same boat that Gen 6 Scizor is in thanks to Smogonbird - still very usable, but there's one commonly used Pokemon that gives it problems.
