Holy fucking shit. I really enjoyed drawthreads and drawing in general but I always drew on paper. I bought a drawing tablet and downloaded gimp. I have no fucking clue on how to use either. I tried to draw a Butterfree from memory since it is an easy mon and this is what turned out. Any tips?

You need to download the tablet's driver and do some calibration. Then start practising. You can start by scanning your drawings on paper, then you can trace them to sharpen up your strokes and lines. Then you can start working out your stuff right into the tablet.
