The more I see it the more I love it.

They could've created an edgy, tryhard, "safe" werewolf design. Another Lucario, another Zoroark. Nope, they made a f*cking looney toon. Love it's expression and cartoony proportions.
Also, maybe I'm looking too much into it, but the white fur in it's back looks like a claw to me. Symbolic of the "curse" having a firm grip over the werewolf's actions, maybe?

The upper part, yes (hadn't noticed tho, even better!). Check the lower part, around it's waist. It has 2 claw-like rocks "grabbing" it. So maybe it means the moon has a firm grip over the werewolf?

Thankyou. A buffed up werewolf with muscles would have been so boring. I genuinely love how silly it looks like a loonytoon and not boring(serious) and stiff.

I'm putting Midnight Doggo on my team.

The fact it's not the hulking monster werewolf but rather a Harry Potter styled skinny werewolf was nice.

I don't undtsard Rockruff-day's appeal, he is the same thing but bigger and I don't like his fur pattern. I liked all the Furfrou's in XY but this just looks like some dog breed. not sure which.

I'd use him if I had a dog that looked like him for sure, but Rockruff-n has those long arms and big paws, I'd really be intimidated if he was real, by Crabrawler too.

I like how night form has a stubby little white tuft for a tail, reminds me of my dog which makes it CUTE!

I'm in the same boat as you anon. Since Rockruff's reveal I planned to have it on my team, but after seeing the leaks this morning I changed my mind. But this whole thread and its name origin managed to change my mind again because I genuinely love this thing now.
