Ok, how was one supposed to know how to evolve inkay without using a guide? Did an npc tell you? When I first play through a game blind, and I think tjat a pokemon evolves, but I don't know how, it's extremely frustrating.

As for your question, I've always wanted to see a pokemon that evolves/is created when you breed 2 other pokemon. It might have a different form depending on what the mother was, too.

Yeah but that'd ruin the gimmick.
Water won't become ice just by being hit by hail and it won't evaporate just because it's hot.
And yeah it'd be hard to evolve it while frozen but it could be fun.

I don't like new evolution method. What will happen to Sylveon when Pokemon Amie will be removed in a future generation? What about Malamar if the next hardware won't use the gyroscopic technology?
I think it's stupid that they have to put a moss rock in every region for Eevee and an electric cave for Magnemite... etc

A gluttonous pokemon who evolves after having eaten a certain number of "caloriess". Each food item (lemonade, casteliacone, berries etc.) has a set value of calories. After eating enough calories, it just needs to level up. To make things easier this pokemon can eat/use food items even when it has full health
