Bosses, I assume this is GF way of expanding the series for an MMO.

Gives a powerful obstacle for players to overcome but power you cannot wield like other Japanese rpgs.

It's honestly lame and utterly shameful we have entire games hyped up to legendaries and all you have to do is take a pokemon with a better type advantage than it and basically 2 shot it.

No rpg I can think of has such pathetic bosses where even the strongest trainers holds no difficulty unless you're under leveled or they have a gimmick strategy.

Theres a different between a form and an illusion. If it turns out the Ultra Beasts actually have human forms, it's a transformation of their physical bodies into humanoid forms, it's not an illusion, it's their actual forms. I'm not paying into this "UBs are the blonde bunch" theory, since I don't pay into theories so I am never wrong, but it's clear Ultra Beasts are not something that will tow to human command.

I think Pokemon naturally occur in the Pokemon Universe when a regular plant, animal or man made object is exposed to pokemon life energy. This explains how aliens turn into pokemon when they come to earth. The only beings which aren't subject to this are humans.

The UB's aren't pokemon, but they probably will become pokemon if they remain on earth for a long enough time.
