I discovered the comic some months ago from a site that makes a thread whenever Chris does anything. The Assigned Male thread is over 500 pages, but it's worth a read. Mostly for shit like this.

Her history is muddled because she keeps changing it to fit her narrative and get donations. She's from Quebec and is, or at least was, a separatist who ran for local office and failed horribly. She's from a well-off town in a nice neighborhood, so a lot of what she says about her past sounds like either hyperbole or pure fiction. She's a narcissist who uses trans issues for personal gain.

You're absolutely right. She could really do a lot of good, but instead she calls gay men transphobic and homophobic for having preferences, dismisses trans men for having "male privilege", and acts like only trans women are ever victimized. They didn't exactly solo'd it, but tried to. They used beedrill as much as possible but realised it was literally impossible. The flinch here is because during the Blue fight the only pokemon remaining were Blue's Alakazam and their Beedrill. Arin used pursuit even though twinneedle would've killed him, and then got fucked by Alakazam's psychic. And it's not like he misclicked or hadn't enough PP, he's just an idiot. The whole playthrough is a cringefest for any fan, but pretty hilarious
