Unless, of course... it's a Battle facility or whatever, one where it's assumed people come from all over the world. Think that'd work? Most of these things would probably not have much merit in the main game anyway (especially for the Legendary stuff), while the few things that do can be encountered in the main game (like the rocks and magnetic fields).

They most likely didn't do that so they have an excuse to add more megas in future games.

I really wish they'd just make another console battler like the Stadium series or Battle Revolution. They don't have to give it a story, but make it a worthwhile game for people who own the main series of games. Like transfer a Shaymin to it so you can unlock the Gracidea for Mystery Gift distribution from your Wii U. Have a big Pokémon museum that has all the plates, and let you use them if you transfer an Arceus onto the game. Game Freak wouldn't even have to make the game, let The Pokémon Company or Creatures do it. Don't just try and shove all this stuff into the mainline games. All Game Freak has to do is make the 3D models, sprites, and items. The actual method of obtaining them can be in the console game.

I was never a big fan of Battle Revolution, but yes, I think another simple battler in the same vein would be great. Hell, if they're going to continue stripping the Battle Frontier from the main games, they should make a console game that's just the Frontier, wacky rules and all. And while we're at it, give it Pokebank compatibility.

I know I'd buy it. Especially if I could import my main series team.

Battle Revolution wasn't my cup of tea either, though it did distributions right. But we could always hope that the Pokémon game in development for the NX is in the vein of the console battlers.
