I think Accumula had nice music. Iirc you talk to a piano girl and drum boy in a house up a staircase. Also Undella town is super comfy. And Village Bridge. Man, village bridge.

But yeah, point taken about some locations having the too urban-y sounds, ie Nimbasa

The overall feel kinda grows on you though, precisely because it sounds like it doesn't belong in a Pokemon game, but it IS Pokemon. Skyla says something about how Unova is too far away from the other regions, so that plus the whole no old pokemon thing, really made for a different adventure vibe going on. Which is saying something with the series' tired formula. Or idk maybe that was just me.

I loved the BW interface, they make such a fuss about technology being so advanced in the games and then make the interface look like a playskool toy or a direct copy of the handheld the game is on. at least gen 5 looked advanced

How? It was a huge functionality-wise from HGSS and especially DPPt, and full online functions were still tied to a location, unlike in XY.

the real funny part about this is I didnt have wi-fi at the time, so i had to ride my bike to the nearest public park and piggyback off a bookstore nearby.

I like the way it looks, being able to change the theme was cool too.
