I was going to agree with you, saying that they'd catch up to themselves too quickly if they released Gen 4 remakes right after SM. But it's been 10 years since DP and FRLG came out only 8 years after Red and Blue, so who knows? I still think it's unlikely, and I feel like they'll do Gen 8 first, but yeah. It kind of depends on whether or not they'd rather milk the 3DS for all it has left vs hyping up the NX. I'm betting on the latter after how hard the Wii U bombed.
