How does /vp/ feel about using event Pokemon? Torchic &

How can anyone think negatively about event Pokemon? I have no problem with someone using the event Torchic and Beldum, people can use what they want. Generally, I try to use as many new Pokemon as possible but it doesn't matter to me what you use. And if your favorite Pokemon is Snorlax, I don't see why using Snorlax is a problem when it got a new mechanic, kind of like how both Metagross and Blaziken were new megas at the times they were available.

I've used the event pokemon in XY and ORAS. Going to do the same with SM. Hold back will come in handy when catching the new pokemon.

I collect them, but I don't use them.

Is anyone able to get their Darmanitans from the recent competition? Serebii says they're up but i cant access mine.

I don't use them because I feel like it would decrease their collectable value. Also, I don't want to SR for stats.

However, since I'm getting a lot of duplicates right now and S/M will introduce Hyper Training, I may begin in the near future.
