How often do pokemon spawn in a specific spot? I know they last for 15 minutes once they spawn in, but how long after that pokemon despawns does another appear there?

I need to know this because of my shitty city not having good quality spawns outside of a few key areas and I'd like to know when to recheck them on my walks to maximize my candy farming ect.

It kind of depends of the pattern. There's a pokemon that spawns outside my house every hour on the dot for 10 mins. Then a block down there's a gang of 3 pokemon that always spawn around there but I haven't found the pattern yet.

Snorelax and Dragonite both spawned near me but I'm in too much pain to get out of bed. But at least I'm confirming the good spawn spots.

Had a shitty experience today.

The site has had a lot of trouble today. A few different groups of people have been abusing it in one way or another.

A spanish site tried claiming my site as their own and ran it through an iframe to hide the url. I added some temporary code to redirect them to a page basically saying "pls don't steal resources"

Also had some trouble with users abusing scan timers leading to me putting up "Pokesear.ch scans are currently disabled" which, from what I read on here, made people cry

But yeah, everything should be working as normal at the moment now those things have been dealt with. A lota people have a go at my site for being shite or down or slow so just wanna say again that it's just me working on this alone. No team of devs

How do modules work relative to the scanner? Today there was a porygon on my nearbys that wasn't detected by pokesearch. Was it just the stuff that happened today that cause it or do modules mess things up?

Come to think of it, do module pokemon even show up on nearbys or are they spawned on spot for visitors?

The nearby list is really bad. I don't understand how the grass is supposed to help at all. Anything on that list could be 100 feet to like 10 minutes walking distance away and there's no way for you to know.

Saw on google analytics that I was getting a bunch of new referrals from "pkmngo.es" and decided to check the site out to see if they had posted some sort of article on my website.

I've had some strange experiences with lures. At most spots in my city, lures primarily spawn whatever shitmons are common in the area, with 1-2 uncommons per lure and very sporadic rares.

However, there's a double lure spot at the beach that constantly spawns weird shit. Occasionally the lures spit out typical water mons, but more often than not it's a mixture of fire, ground, rock, and electric type pokemon, all of which are very rare in my city and never spawn on the rest of the beach, only at the lures. The lures also spawn rare 10k egg hatches and fully evolved mons on a regular basis.

There are about a dozen other pokestops in the same area, but when lured they only spawn water mons or pidgey/weedle/rattata trash.

Has anyone else encountered these "super lure" spots?

You need to repunch in every time you want a scan to happen. Scans don't last forever because that'd just be mad with so many people scanning.

I had to disabled the custom location thing temporarily though, soz. Scan my location works well on phones though.

What's great is that you can sit at home base in front of the computer relaxing scanning every couple of minutes and then when you see something cool put your shoes on and head out to go catch it.

Almost feels like being a real pokemon trainer. People trading tips on nests at real world locations. Apps scanning the area for rare pokemon.

It is a little scary walking around at 1am for a grimer and i'm not even sure if I'm allowed to be walking around the parking lot of the coperate center this late. I mean the lights are never off inside and I did see someone in a tie walk out and pass me without caring so I guess it's not trespassing but it does make me a little nervous.

I really like the spiky dog lately for gym grinding, still good enough to whittle down attackers while still shit enough that I can pop them with underleveled shitmons with a type advantage and get tons of prestige.

Parasect is the Vaporeon destroyer if it has solar beam.

I would think it would work best against grass types with the quad resist. What's cool about this game is that even if a pokemon isn't top tier something like parasect can be a good niche attacker.

I've been using 91% right now but I feel like so many pokemon just barley miss the cut and it's frustrating.

As of right now, when clicking that link, a message that says that "the primary radar is down, please use the secondary one". Said secondary radar doesn't look that different from pokesear.ch

91% is a good thresold. I live in a clefairy nest and 84% is the highest ive seen by far, hatched it. Have 180 clefairy candies and evolved two in the 60's.

How close are you to completing your dex? I evolved an 89% cubone as soon as i had the candies and i got the best moves, next day caught a 96 or 98% its just not a stong mon so doesnt matter. 80% is good thresold for pokemon that are hard to find near you, again its about move sets. For evees magirkarp and dratini its different but again move sets. Say you have enough candies to fully evolve 2+ but no excellent ivs, evolve a 78%+ really high cp and see what happens.

I evolved 84% ryhorn a few weeks ago got stone edge but not bad mon. Caughtt a 93% a week later

Also high cp for rare mons is best imo. I have a level 26 onamyte 8%, may evolve if i dibt find better

If youre far away from full dex and dont plan on using it for gyms just hold off or using during lucky egg

Did they sell some of their servers or something? I haven't been able to get on Go properly in days, I assumed it was the servers. On Sunday I got on for an hour or so after reinstalling the app, and yesterday I got a half hour or so apparently by pure chance.

I don't think I'm banned (I haven't done anything wrong) since it seems to work if I reinstall the app, but I don't want to reinstall this thing every single time I want to play.

Anyone else experiencing this? What happens is that the loading bar on the 'be aware of your surroundings' screen freezes at 5% or so, I don't get any error messages.

It's not like it gets the job done any better than Venusaur, Victreebel, Vileplume, etc. What happens is it winds up spamming a neutral low DPS Bug attack to charge up its super effective Solarbeam.

Meanwhile the Grass/Poisons do the same exact thing except they're spamming super effective high DPS primary attacks like Vine Whip and Razor Leaf.

It really isn't that good at all.
