Guys, how do you build a team and practice properly for a custom ruleset tournament? In a couple weeks a tournament will be held with the following rules:
>4v4 (bring 6 pick 4) doubles
>No legendaries allowed
>ORAS only
>Species clause, item clause
And I need to build a team properly. I've been preparing for a VGC16 tournament but given I cannot even pick legendaries I don't know where to playtest before building, Showdown doesn't seem to be allowing such a format.
Tips?
That's just BSD/VGC15 w/out legends you fucking idiot. Get your friends to practice with you or lose like the friendless retard you are. Get good scrub.

Right, I could just use those to practice.
>Get your friends to practice with you or lose like the friendless retard you are.
I have no friends because I was fucking forced to you dumbass, I had to move from my old city and none of my friends play competitively.
>Get good scrub.
You know this doesn't happen overnight, do you?

Landorus isn't allowed.

Practice against /vp/
I'd help you test, but I'm at a college dorm and the wifi doesn't allow me to go online on my 3DS.

I don't have a properly assembled team, anon. I haven't done that because I cannot decide on a team I want to use.

Use MegaMom and Aegislash.

Two Pokemon I will most likely consider!

Practice against friends.
There are plenty of non-legendary powerhouses in doubles, although some standard-ish stuff used primarily to check legendaries won't be nearly as common.
