My biggest gripe is that the movesets have very little variation, usually there are only 2 different movesets per pokemon so it gets pretty predictable after a while

frustrating but addicting, the hax are turned up to eleven because the movesets always go for the most powerful but least accurate.

Some of these mons need to be removed, even with the stat balancing they are way too good.
Geomancy Xerneas is too much, and for some reason hone claws durant is a ticket to winning everytime too.

They are great. Some of the best rage and autism in its purest form can be encountered here, plus it may be random, but the are only a handfull of sets for each pokemon so it still takes a lot of skill to be a good randbattler.

True to form, I had a guy beat me when I missed a hi jump kick on my hitmonlee and a focus miss against his absol, and a stone miss against his articuno.
He also had a geomancy xerneas, it ended being a 4-0 blowout.
Guys who get past 2000, how? Ive only ever gotten as high as 1800.

I'm at 2054 in this moment, but there is no trick, it's mostly luck.
I think remembering at least 2 sets for all the major threats(including who gets dangerous moves as Sucker Punch, Shell Smash and Baton Pass), doing some scouting if possible, not letting your attackers faint and putting the hazards as soon as possible are all things that can help you
