I'd have a Raichu, Arcanine, and Slowbro. The Arcanine to ride, the Slowbro to traverse water, and Raichu supposedly glow when it's dark so he can be the lantern to light up the dark nights.

I have gone through those times as well. It's hard at first, but you just need to try your best to move on and find new friends. Don't give them a second chance. Drop them and move on. I'm suprised to hear this happened to a guy (I'm assuming). Were they girls? That's some straight up catty manipulative bullshit things girls do. I've only had this happen to me because I'm a girl and girls can be really fucking cruel to their own gender. Anyways, I'm so sorry Anon.

Thanks for bringing the discussions back up. I'm the library anon and I've posted this so many times I should just make an image or something, haha.

I'd be a library tech in the Nacrene Library. Maybe do some museum tours on my off days or help out with the museum/library programs for kids. My team would consist of a Clefable, Klefki, and Morelull. Clefable would be able to float up and shelve the things high up, and would help me out with little things like story time for the kids, or scolding rowdy teenagers. Klefki would hold the keys to the rare library materials and in general be the security. Morelull would be a walking book light and help me fall asleep when I'm having bouts of insomnia or stay up with me and read.

Glad you understand. I'm a guy who just wants people to talk to I really don't care for much else. They were girls and guys in a way. I fucked up by helping them too much out of thinking they'd be my friends, with essays and stuff, and I realized a little while ago that I'm always the one trying to initiate stuff. It's threads like this that make me want to kill myself in hopes I'll wake up from a shitty dream of this life, inside of the Pokemon world, laying under a shady tree with my pokebro Furret in a nice open field of grass with a simple town nearby and a forest as well with some windmills in the distance..
Pidgeys, taillow and various other flying Pokemon overhead and some Pokemon playing out in the grass at a distance, some with trainers having a fun casual battle that I'd join in later to show them some skills I picked up a few towns over.. guys kill me.

I mean, They're supposedly going to be that price until year's end, but it's such a big drop I dont beleive it. They're usually 5 dollars, I think. 3 or 5. Never thought it was worth it but it definitely is now. Though Street Fighter 3D is also 5 dollars right now. May get both since those are huge sales.

Sweet, a comfy thread. I remember when those weren't so easy to find, it's nice to know that there'll always be a calm spot in the board to enjoy the longing.

It's funny because most of the feels I get from these images are stuff I tend to assimilate with "adventure" in a not so calm way, but then I realize that all I want is to travel and be comfy. To feel like I have enough time to just sit down and appreciate the scenario

Empoleon would be my starter, total bro. Dependable bastard that would help me transverse waters, very protective and proud.

Sceptile is the shy but lethal one, sleeps with a Substitute plush that he uses to distract the opponent in battle sometimes.

Ampharos is the clumsy sleepy one. Always falls asleep when weak in battles but manages to pull through by sleep talking his way through it. Wears a scarf to keep his long neck warm.

Don't you just love it when a new pokemon movie gets realeased? They're always full of comfy scenery and music, even the BW ones.

Anyone have art of legendaries interacting with common regular pokemon? I find that really comfy.

For OP's question I find meadows and forrests really comfy. Maybe I'm weird but I find stuff like corn fields really comfy and fields like that. Sometimes I pass actual farms and seeing those massive fields of wheat and stuff seems really relaxing to me.

Hey there. It's alright, doing worse than you because I should be reading some stuff for college but I can't muster up the discipline or willpower.

I'm feeling kinda bad, mostly because I miss her. The person that made me appreciate traveling and the real world more got too caught up in her own problems and fears and decided to give up on me in favor of everything else that was turning her life to shit, because it was easier to keep up appearances.

I don't know if this hurts more or less than learning that someone was never your friend. The feeling of knowing that it was real for the other side yet they still decided it wasn't worth fighting for, or really anything, just makes me feel bad. Ultimately I feel like shit mostly because I know I can deal with it, but she probably can't. Depression is one hell of a drug.

Answering OP's question, I have a very soft spot for isolated spots, if that makes sense. Like a hidden waterfall, a creek at the bottom of a valley, or some sort of ruins or fields atop a mountain.

This is my favorite image, and it explains the feeling well. I imagine that little opening and the creek as surrounded by woods and very easy to miss. I just enjoy thinking that there is somewhere that you go to, enter and then it's just easy to pretend time isn't passing

Another one that I like to imagine as fitting the bill. Imagine hiking atop a mountain through some sort of weird side passage that no one wanted to bother with because it was too out of the way, unkempth or they just didn't think it was going to end anywhere, only to come out in a field like that. And you know no one else is going to look there, so you can stay as long as you want.

Although I think an open sky is a plus no matter what. I do love some forests, but clouds during the day and stars at night are too good to pass.

Most friendships are one sided.
The friend that just disappeared didn't have a car, so I'd drive her around anywhere she wanted to go. As a girl, I never had another female friend but her. I told her I didn't have the gas to take her to walmart this time and she said was 'damn' and never heard from her again. That was a few weeks ago...

It feels as though I should treasure the fact that I was able to do so when most people can't afford and are stuck in big cities, but I just can't get myself to look at a clear sky. They seem so weird and different from when they're in pictures, almost as if I'll fall into them. I know there's a term for this fear but I can't remember it. Am I weird, or does anyone else enjoy things more in fiction than real life?

Well, I wouldn't say the majority. Just because they don't click with you doesn't mean that's the same for everyone else they meet. True friends are rare, I'll admit, so don't go beating up yourself thinking that they have more friends than you. I live in a huge city, it's not exactly easy, especialy when you have to worry about being mugged. But it's still worth it. You can just find a small trail and go up to a view, my first hike barely took 30 minutes to get to the top and the view was amazing

Being able to watch lightning. I know it's not for everyone and frankly most people that I mention it to just flinch back when thinking about thunder and lightning. But something about it fascinates me and it just relaxes me to see it cracking the sky in the distance. Or even nearby, the rumble of thunder makes things just a little more fantastic.

Grass types are pretty nice, too. Grass/Fairy Whimsicott is super-comfy though.

I like fluffy and soft things, so I guess that's why I like most fairymons. Most of the fairymons to me seem like they would be silky or fluffy like a cat or dog.
