ORAS just isn't an Emerald remake. It's a fantastic RS remake. Once you realize this, it is a really cool Pokemon game, among the best.

It literally removed things from RS WHILE not including things from the third game like HG/SS which benefited from it.

The game is the definition of rushed crap.

ORAS modernized the region by removing hindering and slow paced shit like Game Corner and Berry Blending minigame, or Safari Zone game.

On the other hand, ORAS added more NEW, ORIGINAL CONTENT than HGSS ever did, like Soaring, DexNav, Delta Episode, a revamped Mauville City, and brand new Megas and Primals (HGSS added a whopping ZERO new pokemon/formes, ORAS added 25)

Also, ORAS has such a level of attention to details, that this alone should show you the game didn't have time issues.
