So I became bored with vanilla Pokemon and started playing Ash Grey. Currently enjoying the fuck out of it. Any other recommended hacks?

Reminds me of Kindness version.

I started playing Pokemon Eclipsed Version, it is unfinished but a great start to a fantastic ROM hack, if you want a finished game and a good story I would play Pokemon Gaia.

OP here. I am looking for one that has a more serious and epic feel to it that uses the first 3 gens of Pokemon.
Anything to scratch this itch?

Will Ash Grey ever get finished? Will it ever move beyond Kanto/Orange Islands?
On that note, how is it? As someone who likes the anime, I have been considering checking it out, even though its not finished.

It's really fun, but you'll want to make backups. Some weird stuff happened when I played it that reset like all of the events and made it generally unplayable.

It's really, really fun. It even can be challenging. Knowing the anime progression inside and out is a huge plus.

Well Snakewood is Apocalyptic, end of the world sort of way. Exile you can chose to kill people.

Seconding Snakewood. Story's a bit of a mess in places, but the setting and feel is well-done, and that's coming from someone who usually finds post-apocalypse settings lolsoedgy and done to death.
