I love the idea of Jirachi.

This was one of the mythicals I can see being a figure that many have looked to. Just thinking of all those civilizations in the pokemon world that have seen Jirachi over the years and the art, myths, and worshiping temples of it gives me a sense of awe.

A Pokemon that resides among the stars and grants wishes to yearning hearts. I wish more lore was discovered on it.

If only they gave it a proper event with something like using a setting similar to Meteor Falls, but oh well.

Speaking of which, ORAS establishing that Archie befriended Jirachi was an interesting touch.

I liked Lugia, and then Giratina, but Yveltal is my new based legendary.
Not only is it a great tank but it's got cool typing, an OP as shit STAB drain, a rad af design, and ~~~symbolism~~~

Sadly Xerneas just -had- to be fairy and immediately raped Yveltal with Herbomancy and Dazzling Gleam/Moonblast.

Mine is groudon. I find it to be like a clumsy dinosaur, and its adorable in that way. Not to mention it can also look amazingly badass like pic related

Lunaala is close second, if it turns out to be amazing in Ubers (unlikely) or bad enough for OU (pretty likely), it will be #1 for sure

I know he's been super popular and relevant since ORAS, but Emerald was the game that got me back into Pokemon, and I played it back in 2008, and he was one of my favorite Pokemon ever back when I was 16. Still think he's cool, nice design, decent lore behind him, good moveset. I love the guy.

Genesect. It's a cool bug, its signature move is fun to use, it looks great (not overdesigned and a great shiny) and overall is just bro-tier. It's the only legendary I ever actually use in-game.
I guess it's also one of the few legendaries/mythicals that could realistically be caught, unlike box legends and the like.

I wish GF would release its "original" form in gen 7, but that probably won't happen

Zygarde is also my favorite Legendary. I really like hexagon patterns. I think the 3 Xerneas, Yvetal and Zygarde are a really good legendary trio in general.

For me it's Darkrai. Mainly because he's just misunderstood and everyone sees him as a bad guy when he's really just hurting on the inside. But you would really have to know his story in order to understand him. I also love the fact that Darkrai is stoic and doesnt always show his pain. He's also non-binary just like me and I'm glad Nintendo makes some Pokemon agender, genderfluid, and transexual. In a way it's like Darkrai is a pokemon version of me which just think is really cool.
