How many from previous Gen's were revealed before the game

Nearly the entire Kalos dex was revealed. Of the 70something I think we saw 55+ of them.

The new megas in ORAS were all revealed prior to launch. No surprises going in.

Older gens were different since Japan got the games first. By the time they came North America, UK, etc. sites already had the entire dex revealed via japanese copies.

>13/28 Mega Evolutions
(I didn't count the Megas from ORAS; this was from when XY were coming out)

5th Gen:

4th Gen:

In short, I don't think how many are revealed (through official sources, not leaks, mind you) have any bearing on how many Pokemon are in each generation.
