Gourgeist was a shitmon, so it makes sense. Komala is pretty unremarkable right now, perhaps an evolution will at least make it stand out more.

Jokes on you, Gourgeist is my fav mon because halloween and jack-o-lanterns precisely. My only regret is that it doesn't evolve at level 31(st Oct), but by trade instead.

Also like Komala a lot, but I want to see its evo before anything.

There will always be people who will complain about not having something and forget it the moment they get it, and others that will be grateful.

People were excited as fuck to see Pumpkaboo when the early playthroughs were happening. It's just that Gourgeist is a disappointment.

I liked Gourgeist enough that I bred myself a 5IV Shiny Super-Sized one. She's a qt and one of my favorites.

Gourgiest is one of the few pokemon I believe to have awful designs.

The people who adamantly want these things are typically a vocal minority. Once they get what they want, they quiet down and enjoy their new mon.

Shame about everyone else, I'd been wanting a Ghost Pumpkin since the Red/Blue days and as far as slow burning childhood requests go, I'm still really happy with Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist.
They may be fucked competitively but they are A+ cutie-patooties so they are fave Gen 6 line, and maybe even my fave line in general.
Wish there was more fatty art of Gourgeist though

Ideal situation

I actually used super size quite a bit in the masion when X/Y first came out. Did surprisingly alright at taking physical hits after burning things. I just wish one of its forms had the special attack to take advantage of its special fire move pool. It's pretty cool that a grass type gets so many fire moves but almost none of them are viable options.

Gourgeist Super has bretty good defense and HP, access to Foul Play, Synthesis and Will O Wisp. It can be a bretty good physical wall. Trick-or-Treat is also a good move to boost Foul Play.

I think it's just one of the mons nobody has yet seriously attempted to play. Maybe because the four different sizes with different stats are confusing to people and Supers are super rare

Not that anon, but leech seed/will-o-wisp/shadow sneak/seed bomb works well enough for me with super size. Basically if it got good defense IVs/nature it will be taking shit from physical super effective hits, burn the foe, leech seed, etc. Leftovers help.
