I'm going to a local tournament next saturday and I wanted some help building my team. So far I have decided 3 pokemon and want help deciding the other 3 or input on the ones that I've already decided.
Scizor@ Life Orb
Adamant / Technician
-Swords Dance
-Bullet Punch
-Bug Bite
-Roost
Omastar@ White Herb
Bold / Shell Armor
-Shell Smash
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Earth Power
Gallade@M-Stone
Adamant /
-Swords Dance
-Close Combat
-Shadow Sneak
-Zen Headbutt
The rules are very strange, so please keep them in mind
-No recovery items (Leftovers, Black Sludge, Sitrus Berry, etc)
-No legends (even shitty ones)
-Only three banned Megas:
>M-Kanghaskan
>M-Gengar
>M-Lucario
-Sleep Clause, Evasion Clause and OHKO Clause
The prices are not that great ($40-$10 gift cards for the first 5 places) and honestly I'm doing it for the fun.
So, any suggestions?
>no Heatran

I could include Heatran, I mean, I still have 3 open slots. Also, I considered M-Mawile for my team, but decided to use M-Gallade since he's my favorite Mega (even though he's not as good)
I mean, if I wanted to be really competitive with those rules, I'd probably use something like
>Mega Salamence
>Blaziken
>Aegislash
>Azumarill
>Mamoswine
>filler
Legendaries and recovery items being banned makes those Pokemon pretty stupid

Looking at what you have so far, something with flash fire could be a great choice for your team (help cover scizor swaps and make opponent guess if you'll switch or not). I would consider maybe scarfed Chandelure possibly, since you can't use heatran.
Other than that I'd always suggest this set for any team that could use some extra bulk.
Tyranitar@Assault Vest
Adamant
252 atk, 252 hp, 4 whatever
Stone Edge
Crunch
EQ
Pursuit (or any other coverage move)
Other than that, you could really do with something that resembles a standard lead. Breloom is a good choice (press spore, fuck shit up), but you can honestly use whatever you like.
Something with stealth rocks and/or taunt, decent speed, maybe even u-turn or volt switch.
As a final note, the three pokemon you have listed there would actually work out pretty well on a rain dance team together. Just a thought.
Rotom-W@Damp Rock
252 HP, 252SpAtk, 4 def
Thunder
Rain Dance
Hydro Pump
Will-O-Wisp
Mega Mence is stupidly cheap if you ditch Gallade. Aegislash, Blaziken and Greninja are also good.
