I don't think you understand the concept of Victory Road and the elite 4. You are not meant to have an easy time and coast through it like the rest of the game. It's not hard to beat it but the whole point is to grind or make a nice team to take on the elite 4. Most of the time I make a make completely new team to fight the elite 4, meaning I have to grind a team of 6, most starting at level 5.

Making a team for the elite 4 is my favorite part of the game. It really makes me appreciate pokemon I never cared for before. The pokemon on my Hall of Fame mean a lot to me.

You should be fine as long as you have a good amount of healing items. Hitmonlee and Snorlax can sweep Lorelei, Dodrio, Hitmonlee and Dugtrio should be able to handle Bruno, Agatha can be handled by Snorlax and Arcanine. Lance should be easy as long as Blastoise has an ice move and/or Arcanine has Intimidate. f no intimidate than you may have a bit of trouble. Snorlax can handle the champion.

I grind my pokemon for the elite 4 to at least the same level as the champion. I'm not saying it's not possible but it's just not how I play. I don't use items during battle and don't use TMs. Sometimes a pokemon learns a good move after level 50 or 60.

The challenge for me is not in the level difference but the fact that you are facing 5 trainers consecutively.
