This anon posted my favorite so here's something else instead

I habitually bite my fingernails and the skin on my hands. Once I've bitten off a bit of skin I have to make sure there's no loose skin left for me to bite on, which leads to the wound growing (I can't think of a more appropriate word, wound makes it sound worse than it actually is). Sometimes it can hurt a lot and cause bleeding, but I catch myself doing it subconsciously whenever I'm not paying attention but I'm trying to cut it out.
