Want went wrong with Kalos? It's so boring compared to other

It's the boring urban region

That's the problem, every route, everything feels super damn urban. Kalos backcountry feels like someone's garden. Little to no adventure or exploration, it always feels like no matter how wild something may try to be it's just a hop skip and jump from the nearest city so who cares, with very few exceptions. I'd say that that's the issue.

If you can force yourself to assign some sort of theme or motif for kanto there's no way you didn't pick up on Kalos's themes of luxury, refinement, and history, so frankly I can't take this post very seriously.

I always thought Kanto was the boring urban region.Gotta agree with the 'little feel of adventure' thing, though. Except for the latter half of the region, from Anistar on down to Snowbelle city. Especially that little town with the train and waterfalls. It was comfy as hell.

I always thought that Kalos had a stereotypical frenchy feel. I liked it, honestly.

lacks identity because it's filled with old pokemon and gen 1 references.

Though I think I actually find it more fun on a second playthrough because of the pokemon variety.
