Ash really is a time lord

The brain breaking part is that there have been other references to time passing. As far as I know, they normally only happen every time after the last gym is beaten, and a time frame is given until the League happens. (this time frame is the exact same as the real life time it took for the League eps to begin) The last time I added these up, they were close to a year by themselves. I have seen no reference to it happening this year, though, but I didn't think to look for it either. I'll check. The only other reference was in BW alone, and that is that Deerling and Sawsbuck changed form. This only occurs when the seasons change. So BW started in spring and after a certain ep, they remain in summer for the rest of the generation. (even though they said there was a 3 month wait for the league and another season change didn't happen)
