Water. I've always loved water and found it relaxing. Aquatic life is extremely fascinating to me, as well.

Psychic. I just think it's really overused (there are fewer Bug types) and at least half of them are pretty forgettable filler Mons.

I really haven't seen any Poison-type that I outright hate, the closest being Gulpin, just for being boring. But every other design bar few are very highly rated by me. Scolipede is also in my top ten favorites of all time.

>Fighting
Fighting is just a really boring type to me, and it's a very good one competitively, so I see a lot of usage of it when I do play competitively - also, the games seem to love it, giving it a lot of attention for whatever reason. Lucario is my least favorite because while I initially didn't hate it, I never cared for it; and the constant over-exposure and pandering has made me hate it. I've had enough of it. Machamp is my favorite for reasons that I can't particularly articulate, but it's just a very fun design im my opinion.

Bug. I love bugs. They're pretty much nature's /m/, and most of them look cool. Even the spider pokémon are great even though I loathe spiders IRL. It's such a based type.

Water. I don't hate it by any means, and I like a ton of water pokémon, but there's none that I really, really love besides the two in pic related. Most of the others range from cool to great, like Seaking, Golduck, Poliwrath, Samurott, Empoleon... could name a ton of them, but none really work with me. There's lots of 9/10 but only those two are 10/10. And there's too many of them. Way too many water types. Also fuck Scald.

Clawitzer is basically Megaman and the shone is Protoman, and I absolutely love this series so it was my instant gen 6 favorite. And I really like lime green, so I'm that one weird guy who likes the green shinies.
I don't necessarily hate Wormadam, I just think it's really boring. The gimmick is fair but it's weak and a chore to use, especially in game where it doesn't learn shit, and it's just not very appealing.
I have an irrational hate that I can't explain towards Politoed. I just think it's disgustingly ugly. I also think Alomomola is both boring and not really pretty to look at, and it's also the embodiment of stall in RU and high ladder OU, which made me hate facing it.

Versatile specially offensive beasts with a serious talent for hitting hard. They also are super effective against some of my least favorite types, poison and fighting. Usually they're pretty unique and cool and a big threat in battle. Some, however, are lackluster and completely forgettable.

Ugh. Rock is so boring to me. Many of them are paired with ground and they just get completely obliterated by water types, which are so common. They're usually slow, defensive, and ugly. In addition to this, most don't find a niche in battle (a few notable exceptions: Diancie/-M, T-tar, Archeops, etc).

Some of the best designs and some actual variation in looks, colour scheme, and animal inspiration. Nice selection of moves, too. Nobody but moms and Jessica Nigri giga-casuals like Pikachu this long after gen1, and mega Manectric looks like someone just handed a picture of Manectric and a crayon to a 5-year-old with palsy.

Completely uninspired designs. most of them are just the same humanoid athlete garbage. The only good Fighting types are Fighting secondary. Lucario is just as over-rated as Pikachu.

Electabuzz is hella cool, and lightning is the best element. Plusle is just a stand-in for all the pikaclones but Emolga. We already had one pikachu, we don't need to have like 70.
Ice, meanwhile, is stupid. It's wet, and cold, and gets everywhere. But fuck Cryogonal in particular. It's a class A shitmon. Rotom might be cheating, if it is replace it with Mamoswine.

The designs are fantastic, and Poison status is fun to play with. I have soft spot for Team Rocket so it might have something to do with it. Toxicroak is my favorite Pokemon.

I don't dislike any Poison types but Weedle and Qwilfish aren't particularly interesting. Love Beedrill though.

Brittle, generally gaudy designs, and there are so few of them. Mamoswine and Abomasnow are two of my favorite Pokemon though.

I honestly don't dislike Dedenne that much, I actually love fairy because I like every single fairy pokemon plus Whimsicott is my favorite pokemon and it's fairy type. Ice/fairy was my dream two type pokemon so thats why Alolan Ninetales is there.

It's so fucking boring and has 0 utility. I understand the need for it but it still sucks. I wish it was super effective against something or something like that. I also hate lilipup and it's two evos because of my recent white playthrough where I got stuck because aparently double kick can't one shot a herdier even if it's 3 levels behind. I'm not going to lie, Munchlax + Snorlax are my favorite because of nostalgia goggles.

Steel definitely. For whatever reason I really like all kinds of bulky, slow Pokemon and thus many of my favorites are either Steel-, Ground- or Rock-type (this is probably also the reason why Hariyama is my favorite Fighting-type Mon). I also love using Steel-types in battle because they're so powerful and I often run mono Steel teams for fun.

Fighting, no question about it. Fighting-types are most of the time so fucking hideous that they make me wonder what the designer were thinking when they created those Mons. Like, if I want ugly deformed humans wearing clothes, I'll stick to Digimon, but please keep that shit away from Pokemon. I have always hated Fighting and always will hate it.

I really don't like Fomantis and Lurantis, especially the former one. It just looks like a high quality deviantART fakemon and I dislike the "plant pretends to be a bug" theme because it makes no sense to me. It could've been a really cool Bug/Fairy type, but nah, gotta go pure Grass.

There is no type I really dislike, but fighting just has the most Pokémon I feel indifferent about. Keldeo is just a shitter, design-wise. It would've been cool if it looked more similar to Cobalion, Virizion and Terrakion.

Fairy types were a mistake. I don't like any of them. I liked whimsicott before it got that fairy treatment. It just doesn't make sense to why they even added it. Seems like they were just pandering to a vocal minority of waifufags.

It's pretty cool. I love the cold and winter. Most of my favorite Pokemon are ice types, and I like pretty much every ice type, the only exceptions being Glalie and Walrein. Ice beam and blizzard are my favorite moves, I love being able to hit so many common types with SE damage.

The most boring type, the weaknesses and resistances seem completely arbitrary, and it's probably the most restrictive type in terms of what designs it can encompass. It's not like electric, grass, water, etc where you can have a wide range of different animals with the element incorporated into the design. Literally all you can really have is different types of dragons. Or, tack it onto shit like Tyrantrum and Turtonator and hope people are willing to say "ehhh, I guess it's kind of like a dragon?"

I just think hand-to-hand combat is cool, and I generally enjoy how they work in different martial arts into pokemon designs. I like that there are pokemon who can hold their own, and even overpower, those that shoot lasers, breathe fire and command plants just by fucking punching them real hard.

I find Pokemon of that type very helpful both in-game and competitively. I like the wide range of support options they offer (Leech Seed, Spore, Sleep Powder, Rage Powder, I could go on). Grass is also my preferred starter type.

I'm having a good run with Arbok now in HeartGold. Poisoning status effect is always useful. plus, Poison types learn Ground and Rock moves as well and vice versa. that's why I also got based Sandslash in the team. Venomoth is cool too. Grass/Poison dual types are great, like Bellsprout and evolutions. Haunter and Gengar are also poison types additionally. sludge bomb and poison jab are great moves. some even do status nerfs which can decide the whole battle by a mere inch.
Swalot just looks stupid so he's least liked.

Bug is my favourite because it's the early game type, the Pokemon you're supposed to catch early on, evolve quickly, then box when the better stuff becomes available, but I get attached to the guys I catch early on and will try to use them long after the game makes them obsolete. Also I just like the insect look.
Heracross is my #1 favourite Pokemon, while Genesect is the only Bug-type event-only Pokemon, making it the worst by default.

Dragon is my least favourite type for pretty much the opposite reasons. They're placed later in the games in hidden out-of-the-way areas with low catch rates and needing high levels to evolve all in order to justify their objectively awesome stats, but by that point I'm only catching stuff to fill up the dex, not to add to my team. Also they're ugly looking.
Gibble is one of the very few Dragons I consider cute, while Salemence is so ugly I have to choose it over any the legendary Dragons, who aren't all that bad as far as legends go considering Gamefreak wants to show them off and will practically throw them at you.

It's not that I hate Rock type, since there are no types I really dislike, it just disappoints me a lot since it's usually slow and weak to SO many types. I used an Aurorus in XY and while I do love it as a pokemon, god it was frail. The ice type didn't help and it was pretty slow to boot.

Psychic has been my favorite since my first playthrough in Gold where my Espeon demolished EVERYTHING. It was also the first pokemon I leveled to level 100.

I just don't think Binacle is well designed. If it were just ugly I'd have no problem with it, I love the idea of a barnacle Pokemon and I love Water/Rock types. Mostly talking about Mono-Normals. If a Pokemon is Dual Type with Normal, I look at it like it doesn't have the Normal type. There are way too many Normal Pokemon, and none really bring anything new to a team. No type is weak to Normal, and pretty much all Pokemon can learn a Normal move, so a Normal Pokemon is only useful against Ghosts or for STAB, which to me isn't worth taking a spot on my team. Kangaskhan's an exception, cause dat mega, tho.

I've always been pretty ambivalent to Lucario. I like its design enough (lough the combo of blue and black on it), the aura thing was *sort of* interesting, and it's cool to have a jackal Pokemon. When Gen IV hyped it up with the 8th movie and Brawl and whatnot, I kinda got into it. Then I stopped liking it as much in Gen V, but I never disliked it for any reason. Then Gen VI brought it back, and pumped up its overall popularity even FURTHER. I just don't understand why it's so fucking beloved. I can't hate it, but this issue legitimately baffles me. And the Gen VI pandering bothers me even more because Zoroark is one of my favorite mons, and people called it a ripoff of Lucario. Now it's REALLY left in the dust.

Well,Steel is my favourite type for most most designs like Aggron, Metagross, Skarmory or Lucario, and the advantages it gives in battle (I'm most of a defensive playstyle) And Lucario caught my eye since his movie for his typing and his, for that time,unique style.

Plant ain't a type i hate,but most of his designs are too simplistic and i don't fancy them. I like Gogoat because one of my favourite animals is the goat and i waited a lot of time to get a goat design in pokemon.

As for the least favourites,Kling is a concept i would like if it's name and design were'nt that simplistic,and Budew it's a pokemon that i would just forget that exists.

Favorite type is Poison, least favorite is Flying. Love Haunter, don't like Swalot. Favorite flying type would probably be Gyarados or Togetic, or Hoppip, least favorite is bland Taillow.
