I blame Kalos's limited new selection, a paltry 70 or so new Pokemon. Still, Wikstom's ace is Aegislash, Malva's ace is Talonflame, and Siebold's ace is Barbaracle.

Never realised before, but half her team is super weak to fairy and steel.

I would keep her team as it is, but raise the level to 70-something, give all her mons items, even fucking berries would do, and give them actual proper sets.

Gourgeist: leech seed, will o wisp, phantom force, seed bomb. Takes care of physical mons, water types and other ghosts.

Hawlucha: the same, but acrobatics instead of x-scissor. Either give it flying gem or leave it itemless.

Tyrantrum: replace something with dragon dance and you have a threat. Maybe crunch, and set ability to rock head instead.

Aurorus: hyper voice, thunder wave, light screen, reflect.

Goodra: only needs an assault vest.

Gardevoir: replace moinblast with hyper voice, and shadow ball or thunderbolt with calm mind.

Far more selection to pick from, and doesn't set them up to be beaten easily in case of fewer pokemon being added to the game.

Even though Diantha was kinda screwed by the small roster of Kalos mons (its really not that bad team though) her team still has a pretty great coverage. The movesets are pretty great. Her Gardevoir in particular is a hard cookie.

I think there's a nice balance of types, stats, and such in there. I tried to remain faithful to the spirit of her old team as well. Also, all of the Pokémon in her team are female.
