That's because Arceus isn't actually Arceus, the pokemon known as "Arceus" is just one of the million "arms" of the omnipresent, disembodied deity that is the true Arceus. That's why the pokedex says that arceus has a million arms yet the Sprite or model clearly has none.

At least that was my favorite theory about that back when Arceus speculation was all the rage in the gen IV days.

I love Giratina. When he stops before you in the distortion world it's like he's sorry for what he did in the past, and wants you to take him back from the empty, cold world that he's been banished to. I always put him between Dialga and Palkia in the PC because they probably miss eachother.
