The Pokemon are shown in poses in the Dex, this clearly shows that Popplio's mid-evolution is jumping into the air and the final is back on the ground. Not sure why people can't see that.

This image makes me sad, really. I hope /vp/ drops the absolute aggresion after this. Between the fairy debacle, wottergate, The X and Y leaks and this people should learn to at least be more open to leaks and not spout nonesense because they dont like them.

To be fair, the positions of the pokeballs don't make sense with the leaked starters. Popplio's final evo is obviously obese and huge according to the last pokeball.
