So after a long time out, I've decided to play Pokemon again. First game was Blue so decided to go with the Kanto remakes, LeafGreen specifically.
So, what do people think of them? Good remakes? Also, what would be a good team?
They're 1:1 remakes with an improved soundtrack and great post-game.
They're great games but played it too safe, imo. Not having cross-gen evos before beating the elite 4 is a huge downside. I want a fucking Crobat.

>great post-game.
Anon pls, its pretty poor, few empty islands with few additional trainers. Sure its better than RBY but calling it it great is laughable

Leafgreen is actually my first Pokemon game so I wouldn't really know the difference. I still had fun with it though. There's also the additional Sevi Islands and ability to catch post gen 1 legendaries.

Just play a simulator if you don't want to explore the world to find Pokémon.

You can't get Crobat before beating the game? Damn, that's disappointing.

Golbat is better
What would be a good LG team?

shit taste desu

your flying eggplant sucks my dear lad

Confirmed for never using Crobat or it's shitty preevolutions.

I like them but I prefer the originals, I hated the Sevii Islands
I liked the upgraded/updated graphics/soundtrack/mechanics, I just feel comfier playing Blue/Yellow because of my nostalgia
It's funny that these "remakes" are now older than Red/Green were when they came out.

It literally makes no difference, use whatever you like.

>1.1 remakes
With all the amazing Gen 1 mechanics missing.

I sure like my pokémon beign useless if he's sleeping/wraped.

Use mons you underestimate

The Sevii Islands are like the third best Pokemon region.
