In-game I always have to have one of these guys if they're available.

Not really, I like to give my favorite mons a chance, so I usually switch my in-game team a lot after the E4.
Competitively, I don't know, I like to have fun with different sets and mons, just like in-game

Ever since he saved me from that Metagross, I can't use any other Ground type anymore other then Gliscor. It feels odd even on teams where I use Garchomp or Lando.

Nearly every playthrough I've done, I've tried to have the slow, bulky Rock type. For the first four generations it was Golem, fifth gen it was Gigalith. Sixth gen was the first time I did without, and it didn't feel right. I hope Alola has some nice Rock mons, or at least recycle Geodude.
