Well first off, I am a drawfag. Even if I wasn't you can see at a glance that it looks fucked up. A human body, which it is based off of, isn't made up of triangles and straight lines. It's like they were using skeleton models and forgot to fill them in.

For comparison, Machamp and Machoke look totally fine. They're both cartoon, exaggerated human forms that fit with the flow.

Litten's evo just looks like shit. Has no balance to the torso at all.

There's literally nothing bad with delphox besides the model and that's just XY being shit.
The design is great and the only thing that could make it 10/10 would be some kind of witch hat like honchcrow/mismagius which will probably come in a mega.

The only bitching was braixen furry fags that got mad because MUH HIPS POKEMON.

Granted, being another bipedal was meh but at least it was a different design and something we haven't got yet with an interesting typing.

Honestly, I hated them all at first glance (especially Oshawott) but I've grown to like them and their final forms (especially Samurott) after using them on my teams. Emboar and Samurott have pretty diverse movepools for some cool sets and Serperior fills a few niches whether it's setting up with coil for physical attacks, contrary leaf storm, or fast screen support. All in all they're not my favorite set of starters but they are a solid bunch
