hey /vp/, my friend said I "rushed" through ORAS and looking at my trainer card I think they were kind of right, with me starting the game and then beating the champion 2 days later. how do I extend the experience for myself? i want to "savor" Sun and Moon and play for a while before entering the hall of fame

Try to talk to everyone in each town and also get a job so you have less time to play.

Getting to the e4 in pokemon games will never take long unless you're braindead so two days of playing sounds about right

First of all your friend is retarded. ORAS was shit, nobody wanted to play that. Rushing it was the only way to go.
For SM, just try to get everything. I usually talk to everyone in town, get all TMs and catch as many pokemons as I can.

It depends, OP, how did you play the game?
The game is designed to played a certain way and it's sort of explained in game when you're told what to do/asked to go research Pokemon.
You go out and explore and catch everything, switch your party a lot and get to understand the region and it's culture by learning about its geography and the Pokemon in it. Beating the league has never really even been part of the story, it always just comes up as "oh by the way, there's this Pokemon League thing you can challenge if you want". Even fighting the gyms is always forced in with "you need a badge to get a HM to cut this tree", there's never actually any reason for the protag to get involved in that side of the game besides minor obstructions you have to go out of your way to deal with.
Sun/Moon apparently dropped gyms so it's already helping you out.
>that puts the "shama lama" in "ding dong"

>Get a job
No need, summers almost over and OP will be off to 8th grade soon
