My favorite animal is the Giant Anteater.
Heatmor's alright, wish he wasn't as late game as he is. They should add a prevo so we can get him earlygame.

I love hamsters and mice. I always look forward to the regional Pikaclone. This gen's Togedemaru is awesome, Steel typing was super unexpected.

Watching kingfishers feeding on the Danube River Delta is one of the sweetest memories of my life.

I'd love for a Water/Flying kingfisher with Speed Boost, or hell maybe even Ice /Flying with Dazzling as an ability.

I really enjoy watching/reading up on Silver back Gorillas. The fact that they are muscular freaks, with "fangs", can emote quite well, have family/group bonds, and have a giant homie living on Skull Island, I find interesting.

Off the top of my head, no.
There's no gorilla mon.

Bats are definitely my favorite animals, so I lucked out with Swoobat and Noivern.

Barn owls and owls in general. I see Northern Saw Whets near where I live.

Noctowl has always been a mon with a neat design, but it's a shame it's so mediocre. Still, it's one of my favourites.

I'm also glad that we finally got a barn owl Pokemon.

Alola don't let me down

My favorite animal would be turtles, and I've loved all of the turtle-based Pokemon to come out. Until Turtonator. It and Bewear are by far my least liked gen VII mons so far.

I love every animal, but my favorites are penguins and birds of prey. I'm happy with the ones we have, they're pretty well designed, but they're so slow. It's ok for Empoleon and Delibird to be slow as they are because one is a fat Steel-type and the other is meant to suck, but the raptors (except Noctowl, Skarmory and Mandibuzz) have literally no reason to have under 115 speed, as raptors are known for being really fast. I think Talonflame has the right stat model for a bird of prey.

Hey, just thought you'd like to know if you didn't, that most Jackson's Chameleons in the US are descended from the 20 or so released in Hawaii, since Kenya banned importation in 1981.
Not that it has to do anything with the games.
I'm not sure if the import ban is still in place. I'm reading this from a rather old book.

Sandslash is close enough, but I wouldn't argue with a 3rd evolution that expanded on it a little more.

My favorite are either lizards or crocodilians. I love pretty much all reptiles, amphibians, birds, and cats though.

Sceptile, Heliolisk, Krookodile, and Feraligatr are great mons for my favorite animals.

INX part in Shinx comes from sphinx aka mythological creature which is part lion, not from lynx.

I like octopi and manta rays but feel kinda so so about octillery and mantine

Dolphins are my favorite.

Kyogre technically is one, but orcas aren't really my thing. If the leaks are true we'll be getting a proper dolphin this gen.

mantids are my favorite insects. I'm pretty happy with the scyther line, and fomantis showing up in SM is shaping up to be my absolute favorite of all time.
