The remakes should work similar to ORAS.

What I mean with this is that they should have the story of the Box Legendary with some expansion, maybe with a new form or something, but after fighting/capturing it you are taken to the Distortion World where you get the Platinum plot.

In the post game, there should be an Arceus Episode with new characters and explanations that gets you Arceus for the first time as an in-story legendary.

I also wish they'd tie Darkrai to the story and Cresselia in some way. Gen 4 legendaries are too great to leave as event only.

If/when they make the remakes, I hope they don't fill everything with snow like Platinum though. They should have some parts snowy and some parts normal, and have somthing like your character shiver and being unable to run if he isn't wearing his warm clothes in the snow and viceversa.

Arceus is event only. Event only cannot be captured outside of an event.

They kind of already did. There was the whole event in HGSS where you bring the event Arceus to the ruins and Cynthia escorts you around and you watch Arceus create a universe and a baby Palkia, Dialga, or Giratina pops out.
