use combinations of them desu, they all basically tell you different information, like the pokeassistant one tells you the possible combinations of 15s, but the sliph road one tells you exactly what your stamina is and combines the other two into a /30 instead. So if its 23/30 you know att/def must = 23 - which when you look at pokeassistant again, you can check which has the right stamina reading, and then which att/def combos add up to 23.

How hard is it to add the fucking option to disable AR from the settings screen. The game crashes whenever I enter an encounter with AR on, and the only way to disable it is from that screen, so every time I reinstall the app I have to try for days to get into that screen without it crashing.

I'm building my potion and revive supply up after taking 4 out of 6 of my town's gyms, and even though I went through a pokestop paradise for a few hours, I'm still pretty low on healing supplies.

Gyms in my town are merciless blood baths. My team fucking sucks and never takes gyms, they just join gyms that have already available spots. The second strongest team only takes down gyms that are level 3 or below, but slink away if it's any higher than that. That's usually what I do, but my revives started running low anyway.

You still have to have a pokemon at full health to deposit into a gym, and the revive tactic will not work when upping the prestige of your own Team's gym.

And don't tell me not to bother with joining friendly gyms, because I watched everyone in my town taking down all the gyms in the area except the level 7 one. They were all scared by the number of pokemon in it.

I consider "other ways to get coins" to be separate from fixing the gym experience.

Currently, one of the problems with gyms is that they don't actually offer you any incentives other than cashing out. So, if you've already cashed out, you have no reason to bother helping other members of your team. If it helped you boost your Pokémon, though, you'd be more inclined to pitch in and help.

Similarly, rewarding you for keeping your Pokémon in gyms will give you reason to actually put in good things and make the gyms difficult to capture, rather than just throwing in whatever.

It should be noted that I'm working on the assumptions that the battle system would not be fully overhauled, nor would the existence of gyms.

Another possibility would be for the gym to (at least partially) heal your Pokémon on a total victory. That would, again, give you a reason to risk using your more powerful Pokémon, rather than just zerging with half-health Pidgeys. Since you gain experience and move the prestige regardless of whether you win or lose, giving some additional benefit to winning wouldn't go amiss.

It'd also be nice if you could contribute more meaningfully to the defense of a gym if you were on-site. As it is, all you can really do is drop something in and move on.

So try this:
1) Insert 100CP Karp
2) Using a 50-99CP Magnemite or Voltorb, beat the shit out of the Karp for 500-1000 prestige per level. (You can probably beat it once or twice per magnemite, and a low-level potion is a full heal.)
3) Repeat until gym is level 5-6-7ish.
4) Your fellow teammates will populate the gym.
5) When an opposing teammate kicks your karp out but fails to take the rest of the gym (this may or may not happen, but eventually it will) show up and re-enter the gym by training it up just one level.
6) This time, add your highest CP poke to the stack.

What you want is for opposing players to take one look at your gym and just keep right on walking until they find an L3 gym they can tip over easily. 10 coins a day for free.

Between the 10 sec refresh time, relatively large area it can be in and despawn counter which might be low by the time it first appears on the radar, extrapolating position trough disappearance is a horrible method and players shouldn't be forced to use it.

I forgot to add this to the greentext, but it did happen. A meowth appeared when I was walking shouth and slightly to the east, that's why I went down to the west.

For me the system right now is good, because it shows you an available pokemon, but you are on your own to figure out where it actually is. I still think they should add another way of detecting mons because after the 1000 pokemon it gets a bit boring walking back and forth so many times.
