I read somewhere that S/M is to be the first mainline game completely removed from the whole movement grid-snap thing.

How do you all feel about that? Do you think we'll get metric distances, even if hidden, in the case of eggs?

I think it'll be step based, no matter the direction, for eggs. Isn't that how it was for ORAS with the sneaking.

It will step based just like in XY and ORAS. It's not like you had to be grid-snapped this gen to hatch eggs.
