I think Fairy would be the "good" type seeing as a lot of the pokemon descriptions have something positive to them. Togekiss visits peaceful regions and blesses them, Florges takes care of gardens, Klefki protects your keys, etc. Usually they're associated with something positive.

I guess Ghost would be the "bad" side of magic. Lots of possession, violence, taking of souls etc.
